TERMS & CONDITIONS

For the purpose of these terms and conditions:
1.1. "Dinotropolis" refers to the soft play centre located at the address stated above.
1.2. "Visitor(s)", “Guest(s)”, “Customer(s)” refers to any person(s) who enters Dinotropolis, whether by pre-booking or walk-in.
1.3. "Services" refer to the use of the soft play facilities and any other services offered by Dinotropolis, including but not limited to parties, events, and catering.
1.4. "Website" refers to the website located at www.dinotropolis.co.uk and any associated web pages.
1.5. "Terms and Conditions" refer to the terms and conditions set out in this document.
1.6. "Session" refers to the 90-minute time slot allocated to each visitor for use of the soft play facilities.

1. DEFINITIONS

By using the Dinotropolis website or services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use our website or services.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Dinotropolis takes safety very seriously. All children must be always accompanied by a responsible adult (18 years old or over), and all visitors must follow our safety rules and regulations. These rules and regulations will be displayed prominently throughout the soft play centre, and outlined in these terms and conditions Our staff will be available to answer any questions or concerns.

3. SAFETY REGULATIONS

Dinotropolis does not accept liability for any damage, injury, or loss sustained by visitors (and their property) to our soft play centre or website. Visitors use our services and website at their own risk.

4. LIABILITY

Dinotropolis is designed for whole families to play, but we also have two areas designated for children under three years old (both of them with appropriate signage). We ask children, who are 4 years and older to play on the equipment suitable for their age. It is responsibility of the

parent/guardian/carer to make sure children older than 4 years old don’t use equipment or areas designated for younger visitors. Visitors who violate the rules may be required to leave without a refund. All guest 16 and older must purchase adult pass to enter Dinotropolis as there is no
waiting or spectators areas for guest to wait for their families.

5. AGE RESTRICTION

Welcome to Dinotropolis, a soft play centre located at Upper Plaza – Bluewater Shopping Center, Greenhithe, DA9 9SG with the website address: www.dinotropolis.co.uk.

Before you use our services or make any purchases, please read the following terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations governing the use of our website and our services.

All bookings and payments are made through the Dinotropolis website. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking, and we accept Visa and MasterCard only.

6. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

All visitors are required to pre-book their visit to Dinotropolis. Walk-ins are not guaranteed admission and will be subject to availability. To ensure availability and avoid disappointment, we recommend booking in advance through our website. Visitors can select their preferred date and time slot and pay for their tickets online. On the day of their visit, visitors should arrive promptly for their selected time slot. Late arrivals may not be
admitted and will not be entitled to a refund. Dinotropolis reserves the right to cancel any bookings due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control. In such cases, we will notify the affected visitors and provide a full refund or alternative booking option.

7. BOOKING INFORMATION

All sessions at Dinotropolis are 90 minutes long. Visitors are expected to arrive promptly for their selected time slot. Late arrivals will result in reduced playtime, as the session end time cannot be extended to accommodate late arrivals. Dinotropolis reserves the right to refuse admission to visitors who arrive more than 25 minutes after the start of their selected session. In such cases, no refund or exchange will be given. It is the responsibility of the visitor to allow sufficient time for travel and parking to ensure timely arrival for their session.

8. LATE ARRIVAL CLAUSE

Tickets purchased for entrance to Dinotropolis are for admission to the soft play centre only and do not guarantee access to any particular attraction or facility within Dinotropolis.
Dinotropolis reserves the right to close or restrict access to any part of the park, attractions, or facilities without prior notice, including but not limited to maintenance, refurbishment, or safety reasons. Dinotropolis will make reasonable efforts to inform visitors of any closures or restrictions on our website or on-site notice boards. However, Dinotropolis shall not be liable for any inconvenience, loss, or damage resulting from any such closure or restriction. Visitors shall not be entitled to any refund or exchange in such cases.

9. TICKETS AND ATTRACTIONS

Pushchairs and buggies are not permitted within the soft play area under any circumstances. Visitors with pushchairs or buggies must park them in the designated area in the lobby on the lower level. The designated area is provided solely at the visitor's risk, and Dinotropolis shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or theft of pushchairs or buggies or their contents. Only pushchairs and buggies for newborns under 3 months old, and
visitors with medical reasons requiring the use of a pushchair or buggy may be allowed access. In such cases, visitors must obtain permission from Dinotropolis staff before entering the soft play area with their pushchair or buggy and this access is not guaranteed.

10. PUSHCHAIRS AND BUGGIES

No food or drinks purchased outside of Dinotropolis are permitted within the soft play centre. Visitors are not allowed to bring their own food or drinks into the play area, with the exception of baby food for children under 1 year old. Dinotropolis offers a variety of food and drinks for purchase on-site. Visitors are expected to consume food and drinks in designated areas only and must dispose of their rubbish in the bins provided.

Dinotropolis reserves the right to refuse service or remove any visitor who violates this policy.

11. FOOD AND DRINKS

Dinotropolis is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors. We expect all visitors to behave in a respectful and appropriate manner. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any visitor who does not comply with our behaviour standards or who poses a risk to the safety of other visitors or staff. Any behaviour that is deemed inappropriate, including but not limited to bullying, harassment, aggression, or damage to
property, will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the soft play centre without refund. Dinotropolis reserves the right to contact the relevant authorities in cases of inappropriate behaviour or damage to property.

12. BEHAVIOUR CLAUSE

The premises of Dinotropolis are monitored by closed-circuit television (CCTV) for security purposes. By entering the premises, you consent to being recorded on CCTV. The footage captured by CCTV may be used by Dinotropolis for the purposes of safety and security, as well as to investigate any incidents that may occur on the premises. Dinotropolis will ensure that any personal information captured by CCTV is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. CCTV footage may be shared with appropriate authorities for any reason listed above.

13. CCTV

Filming and photography are strictly prohibited on the premises of Dinotropolis without the express prior written consent of Dinotropolis. Any individual found to be filming or taking photographs without permission may be asked to leave the premises immediately. Dinotropolis reserves the right to take legal action against any individual or entity found to be in breach of this clause. Exceptions to this clause may be made for approved individuals who have obtained prior written consent from Dinotropolis.

14. FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

Dinotropolis strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information on our website and services. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information on our website. We reserve the right to modify or update any information on our website at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of the user to verify any information before relying on it. Dinotropolis shall not be liable for any loss or damage
arising from the use of inaccurate or incomplete information on our website or services.

15. INFORMATION ACCURACY

In the event of an incorrect booking, visitors are advised to contact Dinotropolis immediately to rectify the issue. Dinotropolis shall not be liable for any inconvenience, costs or losses arising from incorrect bookings made by visitors. Dinotropolis reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate a session if a booking is found to be incorrect or fraudulent.

For Birthday Party packages refunds and/or cancellations, please see our Refund Policy available online or refer to your email confirmation from enquiries@playcentral.fun.

17. CANCELLATION POLICY

All refunds and exchanges are subject to management approval and in conjunction with refund policy mentioned in the point 15. In the event of a cancellation or refund, we reserve the right to charge an administration fee of 20%. No refund or exchange will be given for unused or partially used tickets.

18. REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

Dinotropolis takes the safety and well-being of all children seriously. Parents, guardians or responsible adults must provide appropriate supervision at all times whilst at Dinotropolis. Should a responsible adult leave the attraction without providing appropriate supervision for the children they are responsible for, Dinotropolis reserves the right to contact the relevant authorities to ensure the safety and welfare of the children. Dinotropolis shall not
be held liable for any inconvenience, costs or losses arising from the failure of responsible adults to provide adequate supervision.

19. ABANDONED CHILDREN

We are cashless (we don’t handle or accept cash) for any purchases made on site except for £20 cash deposit accepted for the kiddie kart rental service. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

20. PURCHASES IN THE CAFÉ AND GIFT SHOP

Dinotropolis provide Kiddie Karts rental service from Reception at Dinotropolis. Service is a subject to availability and can be cancelled without a notice.
Service is offered on first come first served basis and the Kiddie Karts can’t be pre-booked or reserved. For detailed instructions please read terms and conditions of the service displayed in the reception. Please note that you will be asked to sign a waiver in order to rent the Kiddie Kart.

21. KIDDIE KARTS

If you wish to complaint or voice your feedback, you must contact Dinotropolis via email at enquirires@playcentral.fun. We aim to provide a response within 7 days.

23. NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE, FEEDBACK AND COMPLAINTS

If you want to contact Dinotropolis you must do it via email to enquirires@playcentral.fun.We can also provide general information via phone at
01322876127. Please note however we do not respond to voicemails and during our peak times we may not be able to answer the phone calls and customers should always contact our team via email.

24. CONTACT DETAILS

Dinotropolis reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our booking service or on our website, and your continued use of our services or website will constitute acceptance of these changes.

25. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

22. SMOKING OR VAPING ON SITE IS FORBIDDEN IN DINOTROPOLIS AND ANY FACILITY BELONGING TO DINOTROPOLIS.

KIDDIE KARTS

1. Hire of Kiddie Karts is subject to availability and on first served basis. A hire fee applies.

2. A valid form of ID (e.g. driving licence, passport, credit card) and £20 cash deposit is required.

3. Children must be aged 1-6 years old, and able to sit-up and within the height restrictions. Only children who meet these requirements are permitted to ride in the Kiddie Karts.

4. Height restrictions apply: (i) for small single seater Kiddie Karts children must be under 90cm; (ii) for large single seater Kiddie Karts children must be over 90cm and under 99cm. (iii) for double seater Kiddie Karts children must be under 90cm.

5. Only one child per Kiddie Kart at all times (unless a double-seater). Children must be securely retained, using the belts provided, and be wearing shoes at all times.

6. The Kiddie Karts must be operated properly and safely at all times, in accordance with operating guidelines displayed.

7. The supervising adult must ensure that the Kiddie Karts are only used at a speed which is comparable to walking and that attention is taken to avoid contact with other Kiddie Karts, objects or people.

8. Children must be supervised at all times whilst in the Kiddie Karts.

9. Kiddie Karts may only be used inside the Centre. Kiddie Karts cannot be used on any escalators, stairs or in the car park.

10. Kiddie Karts must be returned to the original point of hire, prior to expiry time of hire, and before the Centre closes. Late return of your car will result in the forfeit of your cash deposit.

11. The supervising adult is responsible for all costs, losses and liabilities incurred as a result of any injury or damage to the child and/or themselves and/or any property damage incurred whilst the Kiddie Kart is in their possession (including if the Kiddie Kart is stolen).

12. The supervising adult is responsible for all damages, losses, costs or expenses suffered by PlayCentral Ltd Group as a result of any breach of these terms and conditions.

13. The management of PlayCentral Ltd retains the right, at any time, to refuse or cancel the hire of a Kiddie Karts at its sole discretion.

14. Any unattended property is left at the supervising adult’s risk and PlayCentral Ltd assumes no liability for any theft, loss or damage to unattended property.

15. Food and drinks are not permitted inside the cabin of the car. If food or spillages are found inside the cabin of the car, PlayCentral Ltd reserve the right to retain 50% of the cash deposit. All cars should be returned without traces of food or drinks to receive a full amount of the cash deposit back.

16. No refunds will be provided after the guests leave the point of hire. All issues must be reported to the staff as soon as possible at the time of hire.

17. PlayCentral Ltd reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and without notice.

Dinotropolis (the attraction operated by PlayCentral, trading under the name Redwood Developments Limited) take your privacy and data protection extremely seriously. If you have any questions about our Privacy Policy, you can direct them to enquiries@playcentral.fun.

Our website will not capture your personal data, such as name, email address and contact number, without your consent being given at the time of data-entry – typically via the usage of one of our contact forms, newsletter sign-up or booking.

All personal data submitted to us is held as securely as reasonably possible in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

Dinotropolis does not sell or transfer any personal information collected from our website to any other company or organisation.

Some website usage data is shared with third parties, predominantly in the form of website statistics which are hosted and managed by the third-party company such as Google for analytics purposes and other web analytics services.

DATA USAGE

Occasionally we will link out to other websites from the Dinotropolis website. If you choose to click on one of these links and leave our site, note that we do not have control of the external website being linked to. Dinotropolis is therefore not responsible for the privacy and protection of your information which you may provide whilst visit such websites.

As a best practice, exercise caution and read the external website’s privacy statements to determine how they use and manage your data.

What we do with your information

There are four primary ways in which we use data collected from users of the Dinotropolis website.

If you submit your information via a contact form, we will reply either via email or phone to discuss your submission, typically regarding new business or any other more general enquiry

If you sign-up to our newsletter, your email address and name will be added to our email marketing system. As a result, you will receive the Dinotropolis newsletter which is typically sent once per month. You can opt-out of our email newsletter at any time by following unsubscribe links within the email itself or by requesting a removal using the contact details at the end of this page.

If you apply for a job at Dinotropolis via our careers section, we will obtain personal information including your name, contact details and CV.

Your usage of our website will be tracked for analytical purposes via third-party providers, such as Google Analytics. As noted above, this does not identify your personal information such as name or email address and is purely gathered to give us a better understanding of how people use our website, what pages they like to visit and how they found our website too.

SECURITY

You have a number of rights in accordance with privacy and data-collection laws, further information for which can be obtained through the data protection regulator in your country.

You can expect a response within two weeks, although we may on occasion take longer to respond.

UPDATING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Dinotropolis will retain your personal information for as long as necessary, in particular, if you have contacted us inquiring about our services or have applied for a job vacancy.

If you subscribe to our email newsletter, your personal details will remain secure within our email marketing software until such time as you decide to unsubscribe via an unsubscribe link on our newsletter, or by contacting us directly requiring to be removed from our newsletter marketing list.

As noted in the Your Rights section above, you retain the right to ask that your personal information is removed. You can request this by contacting us using one of the methods below in the Contact Us section on this page. We aim to respond to and comply with such requests within two weeks.

REFUND POLICY

Bookings for all play sessions are subject to a 48-hour cooling off period.
Customers are entitled to a refund if the booking is cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled session. Bookings cancelled after this time will be offered a reschedule at the next available time. Rescheduling is possible only once per booking and only when Dinotropolis is notified before your session starts. Bookings already rescheduled and not attended will incur a 100% charge. Please email our team to cancel or reschedule: enquiries@playcentral.fun. Please note that all refunds will be subject to an administration fee of 20% of the ticket value. Party bookings are subject to a 7-day cooling-off period. Customers are entitled to a full refund if the
booking is cancelled within 7 days of making the booking.
Cancellations made after the cooling-off period will be offered a reschedule. If a reschedule cannot be agreed, then the customer will incur a 100% charge upon cancellation.

BOOKINGS

Refunds will only be offered as per the above. No refunds will be issued on the day for any events.
This includes arriving late, non-attendance, sickness, change of mind or any amendments made to the booking on the day. Dinotropolis will endeavour to accommodate a reschedule wherever possible.
In the event booking was made for the same day causing the cooling-off period to be unavailable, refunds for cancellation will only be made 1 hour prior to the scheduled booking. No refunds to the booking will be given after the guest has been checked in to the park.
All refunds over the value of £50 will not be issued on the day of request. There will be an investigation period of 7 days.

REFUNDS

Ranger meal deals: Hot meals are subject to availability; refunds will not be given for guests who change their mind or refuse the cold meal option. A refund may be given if the guest is unable to receive any meal option at all.
Dino-escape: In the event that the Dino-escape challenge is out of order, a refund may be offered.
Refunds will not be given due to change of mind or a guest’s choice not to participate.

MEMBERSHIP

These terms should be read alongside our usage terms and conditions and our privacy policy.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

£35 PER MONTH PER CHILD FOR DAILY ACCESS (MAXIMUM ONE SESSION PER DAY) + 1 FREE ADULT ENTRY

1. Please read this document in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and standard Terms & Conditions.
2. This agreement commences once you have indicated your acceptance to become a member during the web / Front of house sign up.
3. Your membership will become live once you have made the initial payment.
4. The payments are taken as recurring payments on your card and not through your bank account.
5. If your membership payment is missed or not paid in full, your membership rights will be suspended. If not rectified within three working days, we reserve the right to cancel to your membership with immediate effect

6. You cannot transfer this agreement to anyone else.

PRINCIPAL TERMS

1. We do not charge a joining or administration fee.
2. Your second and subsequent months membership fees will be collected on the same day as the initial payment. Each payment made is not refundable under any circumstances.
4. If you can’t make a booking, then please cancel by emailing enquiries@PlayCentral.fun or phone (01322 876127) giving at least 24 hours’ notice. If more than 2 bookings are unattended in a month or with less than 24 hours’ notice then we have the right to suspend your account and take payment
at the single ticket price. 

From time to time we may need to change the price of your membership. We will give you at least 1 full months’ notice of any incoming price changes and will make it very clear when the price change will take effect and how much your membership will cost after the change. During this period, you
will have your usual right to terminate your membership in accordance with the membership terms and conditions and rules. If you do not terminate the membership by the date given to you in the notice then the price of your membership will be changed in accordance with our notice.

FEES AND CHARGES

Members may terminate their membership at any time by giving us one month’s paid notice in writing to cancellations@PlayCentral.fun .

Any subscriptions paid in advance will not be refunded, save in the event of a serious breach of agreement on the part of Dinotropolis. Your notice period will begin from the next payment date after we receive your notice.

TERMINATION

As per the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you are entitled to cancel your membership and receive a full refund of any fees paid within 14 days of completing your membership application form. However, as per regulation 36 of Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, your membership will commence immediately. If you subsequently cancel your membership within the 14 day period, you will be refunded any monies paid, less the regular ticket cost for any visits you have made.
For example, if your membership fee is £30 per month and you cancel your membership after 10 days of it commencing and without either:

1. Attending or 2. Booking a slot and not attending (thereby taking up capacity), you will receive a full refund. If, however, you do attend with a regular ticket price of £30 for your visits, no refund will be due. If you attend with a regular ticket price of £20, you will be due a £10 refund. If you attend with a regular ticket price in excess of £30, you will be due to pay the difference between your ticket price and the membership on cancellation. If you
book but do not attend and do not cancel your booking with at least 24 hours notice then your refund will be calculated as if you did attend with the method described immediately above.
In summary, on early cancellation you will be required to pay for any visits you have made at the regular ticket price. Booking but not cancelling with 24 hours’ notice will be treated in the same way as attendance.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

1. Memberships must include at least one Adult (over 16 years) on the account.
2. All visits require a booking and we encourage all visits to be pre-booked – entry cannot be guaranteed if the park is at full capacity.
3. Members are solely responsible for their own belongings and Dinotropolis accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property.
4. Members must inform Dinotropolis of any change of contact and email address or telephone numbers.
5. If you wish to change your card details please contact us on enquiries@playcentral.fun
6. If we take no action or let you off any breach of this agreement or give you extra time to pay or comply, it will not stop us enforcing the terms of this agreement strictly at a future date.
7. There may be occasions where we have to close all/part of the attraction or cancel/amend the timetable for activities for which you are a member. We will do our best to let you know of such closures/cancellations in advance of them taking place, unless the problem is urgent or an
emergency. We will use all commercially reasonable endeavours to ensure that such closures are outside of peak visiting hours and are kept to a minimum, in both duration and frequency. You will not be entitled to a part or full refund.
8. Offers cannot be used in conjunction with one another.
9. During Grampasaurus sessions, grandparents have free entry where there is at least one full
paying child. If a grandparent is only accompanying one child aged 0-18 months (who have free
entry), then standard adult entry prices apply.
